Tip #129: Keep Current

Keep current! Do whatever it’s going to take for you to keep in touch with culture. Subscribe to a million blogs, get a Facebook, subscribe to the magazines your students do, watch what they are watching. If you think you are with it test yourself by asking students for their favorite music of the moment, favorite TV shows, and fav movies. If you can’t quote a little from each of these… you need to get current. Submitted by Adam McLane.
