Tip #243: Google Calendar

Share information the Web 2.0 way! You put a lot of effort into your youth ministry schedule, the real trick is getting it onto the radar of your ministry families! Google calendar is a fantastic ministry tool because it is a free, effective way to get your events out there in a super flexible web format. You can use it on your web site via RSS feed (input it once and it’s always up-to-date!), your families can put your public calendar on their own calendars, smart phones and pda’s, and even have reminders sent to them! Best of all, another base is covered in the fight against “we didn’t know” syndrome!
